In 2002, CB.e developed “Stories in Yurts”. The concept was met with considerable attention. CB.e has supported the annual literature convention every January since. Set against the backdrop of the modern, pavilion-shaped roof of the Sony Center on Potsdamer Platz, the traditional Mongolian tent is a truly striking feature. Its visitors and the media were enraptured by this contrast of old and new and the presence of renowned authors.
All yurts are fully booked, and media coverage has reached an extraordinary 14 million contacts per year. Targeted PR work and media partnerships with local opinion leaders from different media segments ensure broad public awareness.
The goal of the project is to attract the general public to Potsdamer Platz in the cold Berlin winter. We succeed every year.
On top of the general concept, CB.e is also responsible for communication, public relations, media service and support for the authors.
